Guruji Dr. C.B. Satpathy of New Delhi presided at the opening ceremony of Sai Baba Anantha Aalayalam, Putraiyadi on April 4, 2012. It is located on the road to Kanyakumari. It is maintained by the Shri Shirdi Sai Charitable Trust, which has a mission and vision to promote Sai Baba's preaching and works. People of different religions, whether poor or wealthy, can attend the temple and perform Aarthis on their own. Every morning at 6.30 a.m., the temple opens, and the poojaris perform all of the temple's ceremonies. In all pornamis, Thiru Arul Asaan Satyaguru T.K.S Ayya performs pornami yogasan and sangalpa pooja at the temple. On this Pornami day, Thiruvalam is performed three times, followed by Kootu Thiruvalam in the evening.

Guru Satnam is a special location behind the temple reserved for Gurus. Poojas and Aarthis are held in the Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Anantha Aalayalam's two temples, Vetri Vinayaka and Maha Sri Thathrayer, on a daily and special day basis. Baba Temple is surrounded by neem trees, and devotees can rest under them, which is also beneficial to their health. Four to five ceremonies are held in the temple each year, and devotees go from all over to see Baba. Whoever visits Kanyakumari must visit the Baba's Temple. Every month on the third Sunday, all Baba followers will read Baba's Saiashtorthram.

There is a Book Shop at the Temple where devotees can purchase all Baba-related things. On the 17th of each month, a siddha medicine camp is held, and a particular prayer for skin illnesses is said, as well as ladies releasing plables for treatment from all diseases. Because Thursday is considered Baba's Day throughout India, some devotees fast all day and refuse to consume non-vegetarian foods. Every Thursday, special pooja is held all across India, including Shri Shirdi Sai Baba Aalayalam, Putraiyadi, at 11.45 a.m. and 6.15 p.m., with a kootu prathakai at 7.45 p.m. for all Baba devotees. Deepem and Dwarakamai are still going strong after 24 hours.

On significant occasions and functions, devotees and the Sai Trust distribute Annadanam. On these important days, Baba's functions Abhishekam are performed with milk, curd, white rice powder, turmeric powder, ghee, and other ingredients. In Shri Shirdhi Sai Baba Anantha Aalayalam, devotees can put down their requests/suffering in our temple request book, which will be submitted to Baba's Thiruadai on all Aarthis and a special pooja will be performed for them.
